I have towed my boat 4000 miles on these bunks and launched and retrieved approximately 50 times so far with no signs of any wear. I was concerned about the bunks being slippery, since one of my boats slid off the original carpeted bunks, but these bunks are not slippery at all and the boat stays put with no sliding. They were very easy to install and one of the best parts about them is they do not hold water like the carpeted bunks, so after parking in the garage, there isn’t water dripping all over the floor for hours. I got my Tuff Bunks installed and am very pleased. They were easy to install and the boat seems to load just as easily as with the old carpeted bunks. I needed two long center bunks and after talking to Rita, found about a method they have developed to attach two shorter bunks with a metal plate to make one long one. This allows you to still get free shipping. That worked out well when I attached them to the trailer. The customer service was excellent. Since these bunks are totally encapsulated, they should last forever.

Well here it was, time to replace those rotted out bunk boards. All I could think about was trying to find good wood, cutting it to size, get new SS nuts and bolts, getting new SS staples buy new carpet cut it to size then go to work, but then I heard about a new product called TUFF BUNK wow what an idea so I thought why not give them a try especially since they are already special coated (no wet soggy carpet), no cutting, no staples, no mess so I purchased a set of four. They were easy to install and clean to handle while all the time wondering how my boat was going to go on and off the trailer. As it turned out it was slick as a whistle so it turned out to be a satisfying investment. I would recommend them to anyone.

I just installed the tuff bunks on my trailer for my Phoenix bass boat… my original bunks were only a year and 1/2 old…I found tuff bunks on YouTube and figured I would give them a try… tired of my carpet bunks holding water for days after I pull my boat out… super easy to install… only took me about an hour.. and that included launching the boat and loading it… I am curious to see if they will actually be the last bunks that go on my trailer…will review again in 6 months to give update…

After installing Tuff Bunks on my Ranger RT 178, I could not be happier. They look great and my biggest concern was the aluminum boat slipping on the bunks. I had read some reviews on other comparable products and this was a concern. My boat sits in place, run up to the bow roller and it sits.
I also would be remiss without mention of the great customer service. They answer the phone and respond to emails, you actually talk to a human. Absolutely great people with the customer at heart!
